Cleckheaton Folk Festival 2016

Cleckheaton: Billys danced well despite being low in number. Weather not as bad as I expected. Procession was nearly all in sun – only rained at the end.  Billy’s precession dance looked great.  We we sponsored by a chip shop so we did Celebration on the pavement outside much to the delight of the owner – and we got 10% off our food there!

OK but not memorable:  may be because last year when Billy’s didn’t attend it was a hot sunny day.   But we danced a good spot outside the Battered Haddock even though we were not up to a display dance at the end of the afternoon (sad face)

Cleckheaton Folk Festival. Short of numbers but we danced well while we could. Shame to miss the chance to win The Wickham Trophy!!
